Trent Beseth (Stanchfield, Minn./Cambridge-Isanti HS) put out another outstanding performance over the weekend at the Tostrud Classic to claim his 5th MIAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Award for the 24-25 indoor track and field season. His mightiest heave of the day, a throw of 18.29m (60ft1/4in) set meet, facility, and program records in the shot put. That throw leads NCAA Division III this season and cleared the competition by more than three meters. Beseth also took home top honors in the weight throw with a toss of 17.01m (55-09.75).

This continues a historic Saints season for Beseth, as he looks to compete for conference championships in both the shot put and weight throw this weekend at the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
