Makenzie Cole (Cohasset, Minn./Grand Rapids HS) recorded 38 saves and on defense, Sarah Parendo tallied four blocks. On the offensive end, Sarah Parent and
Paige Blattner (Avon, Minn./River Lakes HS) each had three shots on goal.
How it Happened
1st Period
- It was a fairly even period, with both teams having multiple scoring attempts. The Pipers outshot the Saints 14-8.
- The Saints took an unlucky penalty late in the period, resulting in a goal from the Pipers at 15:27
2nd Period
- The Pipers carried their momentum to the second period, outshooting the Saints 9-3.

3rd Period
- The Pipers produced a similar result, as they outshot the Saints again 17-9.
