(cssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team traveled to St. Bonifacius this evening to take on the Polars from Crown College. The Saints walked away victorious tonight, led from goals by
Romario Willis (Kingston, Jamaica/St. George's College),
Akeem Robotham (Kingston, Jamaica/St. George's College (Johnson County CC)), and
Arseno Hamilton (Kingston, Jamaica/St. George College (Trinidad State JC)), to sweep past Crown tonight by a score of 4-0.
How it Happened
The Saints tonight got the ball rolling early as
Akeem Robotham (Kingston, Jamaica/St. George's College (Johnson County CC)) notched his first goal of the season, just two minutes into the first half to give CSS an early lead.
CSS was rolling through the first half, as Crown struggled to get any momentum on the Saints' stellar defensive performance.
In the 36
th minute,
Romario Willis (Kingston, Jamaica/St. George's College) scored his first goal of the season, making the game 2-0 in favor of the Saints.
Later in the second half,
Arseno Hamilton (Kingston, Jamaica/St. George College (Trinidad State JC)) made the game 3-0 with a goal of his own. It was Hamilton's second goal of the season.
In the closing minites of the second half, the Saints added yet another goal, coming from Willis for his second goal of the game and put the cherry on top for the Saints. CSS held Crown in check all night and walked away victorious, by a score of 4-0.
