NFCA ALL-REGION TEAMS

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (csssaints.com) – St. Scholastica softball senior Olivia Howe (Scandia, Minn./Forest Lake HS) was named to the All-Region IX Third Team on Monday by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA).
 
Howe earned First Team All-Region honors last season and Third Team honors in 2019. She led the team this season with a .405 batting average, .595 slugging percentage, .455 on-base percentage, 33 runs scored, 49 hits, 13 doubles and 72 total bases. In the pitching circle, she led the team with eight wins, 60 strikeouts, a 3.63 earned run average and two saves.
 
Among region players, she ranked in the top 20 in total bases, doubles per game, complete games and saves.
 
For her career, Howe was the ninth player in program history to record at least 100 hits (184), 100 RBI (111) and 100 runs (101). She finished third in program history with a .454 career batting average as she started all 129 games over the last four years.
