FINAL RESULTS
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (
csssaints.com) – St. Scholastica junior sprinter
Samuel Eben Ebai Jr. (Yaounde, Cameroon/P.S.S. Mankon) finished fourth in the 60m dash final on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at JDL Fast Track to earn All-America accolades.

After having to sweat-it-out in the prelims on Friday on whether he made the final spot for Saturday's final, Eben Ebai also had to wait out a false start to begin today's final. After that competitor was disqualified, Eben Ebai was one of seven sprinters vying for the fastest indoor sprinter in NCAA Division III. After a clean start on the second attempt and after everyone crossed the finish line, Eben Ebai would finish fourth with a time of 6.87 (officially 6.861) to earn All-America honors. The fourth-place ties for the second-highest finish at a NCAA Indoor Championship.
He is the first men's runner to earn All-America accolades in school history and is the third St. Scholastica men's track & field All-American all-time during the indoor season. Eben Ebai entered the championships tied for the 11
th fastest seed in the 20 sprinter field.
Outdoor Season Up Next
Eben Ebai and the rest of the St. Scholastica men's and women's track & field teams will focus their attention to the outdoor season, which begins in two weeks on Saturday, March 26 at the Saint John's University Invitational.
