DECORAH, Iowa
(csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team traveled to Decorah, Iowa this afternoon to take on Luther College. Although CSS trailed by just one goal early into the second half, Luther pulled away and defeated the Saints in today's matchup by a score of 8-1.
How it Happened
Luther got on board first, as the Norse's took an early 2-0 lead.
Keegan Chastey (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) scored the lone goal for CSS today, scoring via a penalty kick. The goal was Chastey's third goal of the season.
After the Saints were handed a red card, Luther seized the opportunity of the man advantage, as Luther was able to score six goals in the second half, to defeat CSS today by a score of 8-1.
