Women's Hockey Announces All-Decade Team

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women’s hockey program announced its 18-player All-Decade Team from its first 10 years as an intercollegiate varsity program on Thursday. The team features nine forwards, six defenseman and three goaltenders. It includes players spanning from the inaugural varsity team in 2010 up until last season.

The All-Decade Team is announced on the 10-year anniversary of its inaugural NCAA game against Augsburg University on November 5, 2010 at Mars Lakeview Arena. The Saints defeated the Auggies that night by a final of 3-0.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Jackie MacMillan over the first 10 years, the Saints have averaged over 13 wins a year, including a program-record 21 wins in 2018-19. CSS has won exactly 100 NCHA games to date.

Every student-athlete had a significant impact in helping build a successful women's hockey program at St. Scholastica. Highlighting an All-Decade team is a great opportunity to recognize the accomplishments of each team in the first 10 seasons and emphasizes the history of CSS Women's Hockey. Each team since 2010-11 has been a building block for the success the current student-athletes are able to achieve. It has always been important for our program to continue to appreciate the integral role that former student-athletes have had on the current success of our program.
HEAD COACH JACKIE MACMILLAN (2010-Present)

Plans are in place for the All-Decade Team to be formally recognized next season (2021-22) as the program transitions to the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (MIAC). The recognition will take place on the night of November 12 when the Saints host St. Olaf College in the MIAC opener at Mars Lakeview Arena.

Congratulations to the 18 individuals below that make-up the St. Scholastica Women's Hockey Program's All-Decade Team.
