csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's hockey team welcomes Concordia University Wisconsin for the first round of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) Slaats Cup Playoffs this weekend.

Saturday at 4 p.m. (*Mini-Game to follow, if necessary) - NOTE TIME CHANGE
*The format this weekend is a two-game series with the advancing team earning three points; if neither team reaches three points, a 20-minute mini-game will take place immediately following game two; if a winner is still not decided, a 20-minute sudden death overtime will take place following the mini-game.

-The Saints are 10-1-2 this season when Sawyer records a goal.

Alexia Klaas (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS (Minnesota-Duluth)) has 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points.
-CSS is 10-1-1 when Klaas scores a goal.

-The Falcons went 12-12-1 overall during the regular season.

Series History: The Saints swept the regular season from the Falcons for the first time in series history … The only postseason meeting between CSS and CUW took place in 2015 with Concordia defeating the Saints 2-1 at Mars Lakeview Arena.
Looking Ahead: The winner of this weekend's series advances to next weekend's semifinals/championship weekend at the highest remaining seed. Only three teams advance to next weekend with the highest remaining seed earning a bye into the championship game.
