csssaints.com) - The St. Scholastica women's tennis dominated the University of Minnesota Morris 9-0 in a conference match Sunday afternoon. The last three victories for CSS over the Cougars have been by shutout.
Doubles
All three of the doubles teams swept their Cougar opponents 8-0.
Elizabeth Fink (Rochester, Minn. /Rochester Century HS) and
Katelyn Rice (Eveleth, Minn. /Eveleth-Gilbert HS) were team No. 1 for the Saints.
Miki Samz (Savage, Minn. /Burnsville HS) and
Emma Bartels (Roseville, Minn. /Mounds View HS (Minn.-Duluth)) were No. 2 and at No. 3 was
Taylor Hays (Altoona, Wis. /Altoona HS) and
Kelly Neil (Mora, Minn. /Mora HS).
Singles
Four of the single matches resulted in a 6-0, 6-0 sweep. These victories came from
Jessica Solberg (Bemidji, Minn. /Bemidji HS) (No. 1),
Sarah Coryell (Golden Valley, Minn. /Armstrong HS) (No. 3),
Alexia Brascugli (Eveleth, Minn. /Eveleth-Gilbert HS) (No. 4) and

At No. 2,
Madeleine Scanlan (St. Albans, England /Loreto College) dropped two games in the first set, winning with a score of 6-2, 6-0.
Serena Hutson (Meridian, Idaho /Bishop Kelly HS), No. 6, dropped only one game, winning 6-0, 6-1.
