The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced the 2024-25 MIAC Women's Tennis Awards and four different Saints women's tennis players walked away with recognition. Julia Maier (Hamburg, Germany/Heidberg Gymnasium), the senior who played all sixteen of her singles matches at the No. 1 position, was honored with her fourth consecutive MIAC All-Conference Singles Team designation. Maier had an overall singles record of 10-6 in 2024-25 and was 3-5 in the MIAC against the toughest opponents each conference school had to offer. Additionally, Maier was named to the MIAC All-Playoff Team, the first of her illustrious career with the Saints. She wraps up her Saints playing days with the impressive accomplishment of making the All-Conference Singles Team every year of her collegiate career.

The next Saint to be honored was Katia Bartels (St. Paul, Minn./Mounds View HS), who was recognized as MIAC All-Conference Singles Team Honorable Mention for the second consecutive year, with her earning the same award in 2024. Bartels played matches at both the No. 1 and No. 2 singles position this year for the Saints, picking up an even record of 1-1 in the ace spot, while playing the majority of her matches in the second spot with a 10-8 overall record and a 4-6 MIAC record. She concludes her Saints career with multiple MIAC All-Conference designations.

Finally, seniors Mishell Benitez (Ambato, Ecuador/Colegio Tecnico Particular a Distancia José Martí) and Maria Sosa (Mazatenango, Guatemala/Instituto de Educación a Distancia) both received MIAC All-Conference Doubles Team Honorable Mention honors for their work in the tag-team matches. Sosa and Benitez were paired up for the majority of their doubles matches throughout the season at the No. 3 position, earning a 10-2 record together overall, and 10-1 in that No. 3 spot. Sosa and Benitez did occasionally play with other pairings throughout the season, and Sosa finished with a 12-3 overall doubles record, while Benitez finished with a 13-3 overall doubles record.

These four Saints all step away from the playing surface for the final time with the individual recognition they deserve for their impressive 2024-25 seasons that saw the Saints qualify for the MIAC conference playoffs for the first time since joining the conference.
