What You Need to Know about the Saints:
-This is CSS' first home game since November 10.
-The Saints are coming off a 4-1 victory over St. Norbert College (Wis.) on Saturday, after tying the Green Knights the previous night.
-The win snapped a three-game winless streak.
-With a victory on Friday, St. Scholastica can post its second-best start prior to January 1 in program history (8-1-2 in 2013-14).
-After scoring a goal in each of the first four games,
Emily Stegora (Red Wing, Minn./Red Wing HS (Minnesota State-Mankato)) went pointless in the next three games, before recording a hat trick in Saturday's victory.
-CSS is 5-0 when Stegora and
Alexia Klaas (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS (Minnesota-Duluth)) record a point and 0-1-2 when they do not.
-Stegora's four game-winning goals ranks second in NCAA Division III.

Abby Sawyer (Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna HS) moved into fifth place on the program's career point list with her goal in Friday night's tie.
-Sawyer became only the second Saint to record at least 40 goals in a career.
-Goaltenders
Lori Huseby (Babbitt, Minn./Northeast Range HS) and
Lexi Thomeczek (St. Louis, Mo./St. Joseph Academy (St. Louis AAA Blues)) rank fifth and sixth, respectively, in the NCHA in goals-against-average.
-Thomeczek ranks fourth in the league with a .939 save percentage.
-The Saints have not allowed a power-play goal in six of the last seven games.
-The Saints are 6-0-1 when they record the first goal.
What You Need to Know about Hamline:
-The Pipers enter Friday's matchup with a 7-2 overall record.
-Hamline is 5-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC).
-Hamline will be riding a three-game winning streak after defeating the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire at home on Tuesday.
-This will also be Hamline's final game before the end of the calendar year.
-Both of the Pipers' losses have come away from St. Paul.
-Senior Sarah Bobrowski leads the team with 15 points.
-Sophomore Bre Simon has a team-high seven goals.
-Senior Darby Dodds leads the squad with 10 assists.
-All three of the players mentioned above are at the top of the MIAC point scoring list.
-Bobrowski and Dodds are Division I transfers.
-The Pipers lead the MIAC in scoring offense, averaging 4.00 goals per game.
-Sophomore goaltender Annie Juergens leads the MIAC with a 0.92 goals-against-average.
-Juergens ranks third in the nation with a .960 save percentage.
-The Pipers average the third-most penalty minutes per game (12.4) in the country.
-Hamline has out-scored teams 15-3 in the second period.
