csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's tennis team made quick work of North Central University on Saturday, winning 9-0 at the Arrowhead Tennis Center.
Doubles
The No. 1 team of
Jessica Solberg (Bemidji, Minn. /Bemidji HS) and
Madeleine Scanlan (St. Albans, England /Loreto College) won their ninth straight match with an 8-0 victory. The No. 2 team of
Katelyn Rice (Eveleth, Minn. /Eveleth-Gilbert HS) and
Alexia Brascugli (Eveleth, Minn. /Eveleth-Gilbert HS) also won by an 8-0 score. The No. 3 team of
Moriah Branick (Eau Claire, Wis. /Eau Claire Regis HS) and
Taylor Hays (Altoona, Wis. /Altoona HS) won by default.
Singles
The Saints won five singles matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores and won by default at the No. 6 spot.
