OWATONNA, Minn. (csssaints.com) – St. Olaf College handed the St. Scholastica women's tennis team its first loss of the season with a 6-3 victory on Saturday.
 
Doubles:
The No. 3 team of Daniela Rojas (Monterrey, Mexico /Universidad Tecmilenio) and Alexia Brascugli (Eveleth, Minn. /Eveleth-Gilbert HS) were the lone duo to win by a score of 8-4. The Oles cruised in the other two doubles matches.
 
Singles:
Madeleine Scanlan (St. Albans, England /Loreto College) scratched out a victory at the No. 2 spot 7-6 (6), 6-2. Sarah Coryell (Golden Valley, Minn. /Armstrong HS) improved to 3-0 with a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 6 spot.
 
St. Olaf won the other four matches in straight sets.
