Notables-First outdoor meet of the year-CSS placed ninth out of 11 teams with 18 points
LA CROSSE, Wis. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's track & field team took part in the Ashton May Invitational, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Friday night.
Aaron Egelkraut (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) was second in the 400m hurdles with a personal-best time of 57.93.
Mike Naumann (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern HS) was sixth in that event.
Corey Anderson (Duluth, Minn./Hermantown HS) was sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 40'9" (12.42m).
Kevin Wagner (Cleveland, Minn./Cleveland HS) placed seventh in the javelin throw with a personal-best mark of 147'11" (45.08m).
Ryan Murphy (Spooner, Wis./Spooner HS) was also seventh in the hammer throw with a personal-best toss of 156'10" (47.81m).
Tony Anselmo (Bigfork, Minn./Bigfork HS ) was ninth in the long jump with a leap of 19'4" (5.89m).
The Saints will be at the Lee Krough Invite at Gustavus Adolphus College next Saturday.
