DULUTH, Minn. – The College of St. Scholastica men's track and field program earned All-Academic Team recognition from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, while Noah Kubicek (Owatona, Minn./Owatonna HS) and Joshua Monreal (Proctor, Minn./Proctor HS) were selected as individual All-Academic Athletes, the organization announced Tuesday.
St. Scholastica ranked 24th among NCAA Division III men's programs in cumulative team grade-point average. The Saints also posted the third-highest GPA among Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference programs.
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic Team recognition, a program must maintain a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.10.
The individual award requires student-athletes to maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 while also reaching an established national performance standard during the indoor or outdoor track and field season.
