LAKEVILLE, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica women's tennis team couldn't take down University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Sunday, falling 9-0.
CSS's doubles fell by scores of 8-2, 8-4, and 8-3.
On the singles side of play,
Miki Samz (Savage, Minn. /Burnsville HS) came closest to topping her opponent with scores of 4-6, 6-0, (10-3).
The Saints will play next on Sunday, March 8 for their spring break tournament in Orlando, Florida. Their first opponent is Saint Ambrose (Iowa) in an early morning competition set to start at 8 a.m. (EST).
