The Saints offense started rolling right away as

Nikki Logergren (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS (Northern Stars)) and that would end the Saints' scoring for the inning with a 4-0 lead.
Morris would get a few runs back, starting in the bottom of the first with a two-run double into center field to narrow the Saints' lead to 4-2. In the third inning, Morris would bring in one more runner but had chances to put more runs on the board the rest of the game but they would never capitalize on those chances.
CSS would extend their lead in the fourth inning as Warren doubled to right center field, scoring Jazdzewski to make it a 5-3 game. The next batter, Logergren, would then hit a ball down the right field line that would score Warren. Gordon would then bring in Logergren on a single up the middle to give the Saints a 7-3 lead at the end of the inning. Gordon would also help the Saints extend in the sixth as she hit a double that would score
Shauney Moen (Oak Grove, Minn./St. Francis HS) that would increase the lead to 8-3.
The Saints would not be done as they tacked on a few insurance runs in the seventh inning. Warren started it off with a double to center field that would score Jazdzewski from first base. After a Logergren walk, McCabe would finish off the scoring for the Saints with a triple that would bring in both Warren and Logergren to score and make the final score 11-3.
Warren, Gordon, and McCabe would each have three RBIs to lead the Saints.
Micah McGuiness (Forest Lake, Minn./Forest Lake HS) got the win for the Saints, going all seven innings and striking out six.
