PREVIEW: Softball Travels to Morris and Crown this Week

DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica softball team will travel to face the University of Minnesota Morris on Thursday and Crown College on Friday in a pair of conference doubleheaders.
Game Schedule:
Thursday vs. Minnesota Morris – 3 p.m. (DH) in Fergus Falls (Location Change)
Friday at Crown – 1 p.m. (DH)
Crown College Storm Record: 6-18 (4-6 UMAC) Head Coach: Jamie Ross | - Crown took home two wins against North Central University last weekend with scores of 12-3 and 12-8.
- Moriah Sawyer leads the UMAC with 15 stolen bases this season. As a team, Crown leads the UMAC with 36 stolen bases this season.
- Jena Willis leads the team with a batting average of .406 and is followed closely by Kendra Magaard at .404.
- WIllis also pitches for Crown and has 43 strikeouts this year.
Series History: (CSS is 31-0 vs. Crown) -The Saints defeated the Storm earlier this season at the UMAC Crossover 11-0. -CSS has not played Crown in true road games since the 2011 season. |
