St. Scholastica Saints
Record:
 1-2-2 (0-0-0 UMAC)
Head Coach: Barry Chastey

-The Saints look to rebound from a difficult 1-0 double overtime loss at Macalester last Saturday. CSS has won just one game thus far this season.
-CSS was selected as the unanimous favorite to win the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) regular season title in 2013, according to a poll of league coaches. The Saints, who have won three-straight regular season trophies, will look to capture their fourth consecutive championship this season.
-CSS was a perfect 14-0 last season in UMAC play and also took home the conference tournament crown last season.
-All-UMAC first teamer Joe Watt (London, England/North West Kent College) has played well in the early part of the year for the Saints, with a pair of goals and an assist. His five points and two goals are both good for second in the UMAC.
-Reigning UMAC Offensive Player of the Year Andrew Jenkins (Cardiff, Wales/Whitchurch HS) has yet to score a goal or record an assist this season. As a sophomore last season, -Jenkins scored 25 goals, 10 more than any other UMAC player, also setting a CSS program record.
-Saints keeper Adam Hewitt (Richmond Hill, Ontario/St. Theresa of Lisieux Catholic HS) has played well so far this season, with a .889 save percentage and 0.74 goals-against average. Both are good for second in the UMAC.
Northland College LumberJacks
Record: 2-3-0 (0-0-0 UMAC)
Head Coach: Olaf Kirsten

-The 'Jacks come into the conference opener looking to stop a two-game losing skid. Most recently, Northland fell to Knox College (Ill.) at home 2-0 and lost 1-0 on the road against Finlandia.
-The 'Jacks have had a balanced offensive attack this season, as three different players have scored a goal.
-Keeper Colton Schreyer has been an anchor in net for the LumberJacks. His .923 saves percentage and 0.67 goals-against average are both tops in the UMAC thus far this year.
-Northland has been outshot by opponents 84-34 thus far this season, and has just 10 shots in its past two games.
-Northland was picked eighth in the 2013 UMAC Coaches' Preseason Poll. Northland did not win a game last season, in conference or non-conference play.
-The 'Jacks have a young squad again this season, as all but two players are underclassmen. However, many of the sophomore members have a fair amount of experience from last year.
Series History: (CSS is 51-17-7 vs. Northland)
The Saints have dominated conference play in recent years, and the LumberJacks are no exception. Northland has not defeated the Saints in the past 15 contests.
