DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica softball team looks to build on its splits in the last two conference doubleheaders as it travels to the West St. Paul Dome to face Crown College this Friday and the Vandnais Heights Sports Center to take on Minnesota Morris for a late Saturday night matchup.

An All-UMAC First Team selection last season, Darcy Roach (East Grand Forks, Minn./Sacred Heart HS) has a 2.94 ERA while throwing a team high 64.1 innings and seven complete games. Younger sister Tracy Roach (East Grand Forks, Minn./Sacred Heart HS) is second with a 3.39 ERA and has a 2-0 record in five appearances.

Morris has been led by Cassie Sowada, who is batting a blistering .464 in 28 plate appearances. Brooke Decker and Sam Hanson have healthy .360 and .357 averages as well, and Decker leads the team with 12 RBIs and is tied for second in the UMAC with 13 steals.
