The Saints traveled out to New Hampshire last week and took part in the Saint Anselm College Invitational. CSS fell to the host, Saint Anselm 5-2, snapping a seven-game unbeaten streak on Friday, but responded by beating Salve Regina University (R.I.) 4-3 on Saturday. Angela Schlieske (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South HS) was the hero on Saturday, netting the game-winner with 17 seconds left.

St. Scholastica Saints (9-3-1)

The Auggies will enter this weekend's contests unbeaten in their last three games, including wins against Marian University (Wis.) and the College of Saint Benedict … After a 5-39-4 record the past two seasons, second-year head coach Michelle McAteer is starting to turn the program around … Augsburg started out the season 3-1-1, before losing three straight … Freshman Rachel Hennessy by far leads the team in scoring with 14 goals and 18 points … The rest of the team has combined for 15 goals this season … Hennessy is ninth in country in points per game (1.64) and is second behind CSS's Nina Waidacher (Arosa, Switzerland/Wirtschaftschule KV Chur (ZSC Lions/Swiss U18 National)) in goals per game (1.27) … Brianna Schulz has seen the majority of play between the pipes and has a .924 save percentage, stopping 274 shots this year … Augsburg is eighth in the country in penalty minutes, accumulating an average of 12.7 per game.
