DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica men's hockey team is back at Mars Lakeview Arena this weekend as it plays host to fellow Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) opponent University of Wisconsin-Stout for a two game series.

The Saints picked up two wins in the MCHA/NCHA showcase by beating Marian University 4-3 on Friday night and Lawrence University 6-1 on Saturday night. Brett Corcoran (Parksville, British Columbia/Ballenas Secondary (Trail Smoke-BCHL) ) had a goal and three assists in the two games combined.

St. Scholastica Saints (5-2-1, 1-2-1 NCHA)
The Saints are currently riding a three game win streak with one of those wins coming against an NCHA opponent UW-Eau Claire with a 2-1 victory … Brett Corcoran (Parksville, British Columbia/Ballenas Secondary (Trail Smoke-BCHL) ) has had a great start to the season by scoring a point in all eight games so far and leads the team with seven goals and is second on the team with six assists … Four of his goals have come on the power play … Tyler Miller (Fort Frances, Ontario/Rainy River HS (Thunder Bay-SIJHL) ) has the lead in assists with 10 on the year …  21 of the 24 players on the roster have recorded points for the Saints, with 13 of those players scoring goals … Colin Rundell (Tees, Alberta/Lacombe Composite (Alaska-Fairbanks) ) has started five games in net making 157 saves on his way to a 2-2-1 record … Jojo Jeanetta (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS ) is 3-0-0 in his freshman campaign giving up just two goals per game … As a team the Saints are netting 3.96 goals per game while giving up just 2.60 … These are the last home games of the 2011 year for the Saints … CSS will not be at home again until January 20th.

UW-Stout Blue Devils (5-4-0, 2-2-0 NCHA)
The Blue Devils will be concluding a five-game streak where they have been on the road after opening up the season with the first six games coming at home … Stout won its first three games by outscoring their opponents 17-5, but have since lost four of six and have been outscored 19-12 … Branden Gay leads the team in goals (5), assists (6) and points (11) … Kevin O'Donnell is right behind Gay with four goals and six assists to give him 10 total points … Tom Lescovich has logged most of the minutes between the pipes for Stout with seven starts and over 440 minutes in net … Lescovich has made 182 saves for a 4-3 record … As a team the Blue Devils are scoring 3.22 goals per game, while giving up 2.66.
