The men's and women's soccer teams bring undefeated conference records into the homecoming weekend where they will face off with the North Central University Rams (MN) on Saturday and the University of Minnesota-Morris Cougars on Sunday at Saints Field.

Last Action: The Saints fell to the University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellow Jackets 1-0 in double overtime at a very rain soaked Public Schools Stadium on Wednesday.
St. Scholastica Saints (9-3-1, 6-0-1 UMAC)
The Saints are in mid-season form with a very impressive record. Along with being undefeated in the conference, they are currently ranked 10th in the north region. CSS is coming off a tough couple of games against regionally ranked opponents in UW-Oshkosh and UW-Superior, but the close and tough matches with those two teams could potentially raise the Saints' confidence.
Kyle Farrar (Sevenoaks, England/Kelsey Park Sports College) continues to lead the way in points with 22 points, and senior captain
Brandon Stemwedel (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids HS) has moved into second on the team with 18. Senior captain goalkeeper
Sam Reed (Eastbourne, England/Causeway School) continues to impress as he has made 66 saves on his way to five shutouts and an 8-3-1 record.
North Central Rams (2-8-2)
After beginning the season with a victory on the road at Crossroads University, the Rams have fallen off the radar. Since then they've only won one game and are winless in their last five outings. The Rams will face off with Northland International University on Friday before coming to Duluth on Saturday.
Last Meeting (CSS All-Time Record vs. North Central: 5-0-0)
The Saints last saw the Rams in action in 2004 at the Blaine Sports Center. CSS came away with an easy victory in that game, taking down NCU 5-1.
Minnesota-Morris Cougars (6-3-2, 5-1-0 UMAC)
Since the last meeting with St. Scholastica, the Cougars are on a three game winning streak after an overtime victory at Martin Luther. Ebrima Badgie leads the way for the cougars in scoring with 11 points on four goals and three assists. Matt Johnson is behind him with eight, and Toby Glaser is third on the team with six. Tyler Weber has been the goalkeeper on record for every game this season on his way to a 6-3-2 record with six shutouts and 44 saves. The cougars will take on Northland College in Ashland, Wis. on Friday before coming to Duluth on Saturday.

Women's Soccer
Last Action: The Saints faced off with Northland College last Friday afternoon at Saints Field. They walked off the field with a 7-0 victory on a hat trick from
Kelsey Kehtel (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS), and two goals a piece from
Taylor Cunningham (Eau Claire, Wis./Eau Claire Memorial HS) and
Shannon Carlson (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS).
Molly Bergmann (Walker, Minn./Walker-Hackensack-Akeley HS) made three saves to earn her fifth shutout of the season.
St. Scholastica Saints (8-4-0, 7-0-0 UMAC)
The Saints continue to stay hot, as they are now on a seven-game winning streak after taking down Northland last week. The freshman Kehtel continues to impress, with a hat trick last weekend now has nine goals on the season and leads the team with 18 points.
Andrea Beatt (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove HS) is next in line with 15 points of her own. Carlson and
Kaylee Gombold (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) both have 11 points to put them in a tie for third on the team. Bergmann and her counterpart
Bailey Mahlum (Bismarck, N.D./Bismarck HS) continue to have success in goal this season. Bergmann is 5-1-0 with five shutouts and Mahlum is 3-3-0 with three shutouts of her own.
North Central Rams (5-6-0)
The Rams have turned it around as of late, after dropping five of six games, they are now on a two-game winning streak, taking down Providence College (Man.) and Faith Baptist College (Iowa). The Rams will take on Northland International University on Friday before making the trip to Duluth on Saturday.

Minnesota-Morris Cougars (6-5-0, 4-2-0 UMAC)
The Cougars have won three straight conference games on their way to a winning record in-conference. There most recent game was a non-conference match against Augsburg in which they fell 4-1. The Cougars have been led this season by their version of the “Big Three” in Christina Mollan, Leah Parker, and Zoe Bergstrom. Mollan leads the team with 14 points, Parker has 13 and Bergstrom rounds off the trio with 12. RiAnne Metz has been the goalkeeper on record for every game this season on her way to a 6-5-0 record with four shutouts and 41 saves. The Cougars will take on Northland on Friday before coming to Duluth on Saturday.
