The two runs for the Auggies came on one swing of the bat as Brittney Bruzek hit a two-run home run with two outs in the bottom of the third to make it 2-0.
The Saints got one of those runs back in the fifth when #Jannon Stewart-Garcia# (
Fr.-Minneapolis, Minn./DeLaSalle) scored on an Augsburg error. CSS then loaded the bases with two outs in the top of the seventh, but could not push a run across as the Auggies hung on for the 2-1 victory.
