DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team will play its first NCAA Tournament game Saturday night in Whitewater, Wis. when it faces Augsburg College on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

The Auggies made their way into the NCAA Tournament after coming from a two-goal deficit to defeat Concordia-Moorhead on Friday in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Tournament championship … Augsburg is making its second-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III national tournament, the first coming in 2008 under head coach Greg Holker … That season, the Auggies advanced to the “Sweet Sixteen” round of the tournament … The Auggies have won seven straight and their 15 wins are tied for the most in program history … Chad Gilmer leads the Auggies with eight goals and 21 points … Ahmed Gobana and Matt Bowman each have a team-high six assists … Will Morlock has started the last four games for the Auggies in net and has even shutouts this season … Augsburg is unbeaten against the Saints in its last seven meetings (6-0-1)
