DULUTH, Minn. – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team scored a season-high seven goals on its way to a 7-2 victory this afternoon over Crown College at Saints Field.
The Saints improve to 11-1-2 overall and 8-1-1 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC). The Storm fall to 4-9-1 overall and 3-5-1 in the conference. The seven goals scored by the Saints matched their total from the last five matches.

Jr.-Spalt, Germany/J.S. Bach) and scored his fifth goal on the campaign to make it 2-0. Peter moved into ninth on the Saints' all-time scoring list with the assist.
The Storm cut the lead in half in the 29th minute when Nathan Greene scored off of a rebound. The Saints got that goal right back as #Courtney Bonnick# (

Toby Peter (Spalt, Germany/J.S. Bach Gymnasium) netted his third goal on the year with an assist from Bonnick to make it 4-1 at halftime.
St. Scholastica got an own goal three minutes into the second half and then three minutes after that,

Erik Trochimchuk (Thunder Bay, Ontario/Hammarskjold HS) also scored his second goal on the afternoon in the 82nd minute to make it 7-1. #Asos Amin# (

So.-Eastbourne, England/Causeway) stopped three shots to earn the win for the Saints, while Crown's John Loeffler made some nice saves, but ended up with the loss.
