Manning nearly pulled of a double when he finished second in the triple jump with a best effort of 42 feet, 1.75 inches. He also placed fourth in the long jump with a leap of 20 feet, 9.5 inches.

Sophomore Alex Tuttle also came away from the Challenge as an event winner and new CSS record holder by racing to first place in a new St. Scholastica record time of 4 minutes, 24.95 seconds.

Dan Bobek, Alan Larson, and Tyler Hassel teamed with Tuttle in yet another school record on the day as the quartet finished 5th in the 4x400 meter relay with a CSS-best time of 3:35.26.

Larson had the other top-8 finish for the Saints at the meet with a 6th place time of 54.34 in the 400m dash.

"The trip (to Marquette) was obviously well worth it," said head coach Kirk Naumen. "We had great competition against schools we normall don't see."
