Duluth, Minn. – St Scholastica's
Kloey Lind (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS),
Jackie Johnson (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji HS),
Jada Bierschbach (Richmond, Minn./Rocori HS), and
Hope Carlson (Proctor, Minn./Proctor HS) were all selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team for 2024-25. The is the second Academic All-District award for Johnson, while Lind, Bierschbach, and Carlson were selected for the first time in their careers.
Each school can nominate a select number of student-athletes that meet the following criteria:
• at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
• at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
• compete in at least 90 percent of the institution's games or start at least 66 percent of the contests
Lind, the two time MIAC All-Conference sophomore was second for the Saints in scoring with 10.9 ppg and a 50% field goal percentage. She led St. Scholastica with over six total rebounds per game. Her inside presence was felt on the defensive side as well, as she sent back twenty-one blocked shots throughout the season.
Johnson, picked up her second CSC career award with 37/34/75 shooting splits for the year and averaged 7.0 points per game. She was a valuable member of the Saints bench mob, contributing twenty steals throughout the season.
Bierschbach earned her way onto the award sheet with valuable bench minutes for the Saints, playing in all twenty five of the Saints games while averaging 4.8 ppg. She additionally provided some occasional second chance opportunities with twenty offensive rebounds throughout the year.
Carlson averaged 6.2 ppg for the Saints, including a season high performance with 23 against Northland. She shot over 45% from the field and also sized up the glass with 3.1 rebounds per game and 31 total offensive rebounds on the season.
