DULUTH, Minn. – The College of St. Scholastica women's basketball team saw three student-athletes earn recognition from the College Sports Communicators, as Ava Haus (St. Michael, MN/St. Michael-Albertville High School), Jackie Johnson (Bemidji, MN/Bemidji HS) and Ava Riegel (Rogers, MN/Totino Grace High School) were named to the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District® Team.

Haus was also selected as a CSC Academic All-America® finalist, advancing to the national ballot. Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 15.

The CSC Academic All-District® Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the court and in the classroom.

To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, and either compete in 90 percent of their team's games or start in at least 66 percent of contests during the season.

Haus played a leading role in the Saints' success this season, finishing as the MIAC's leading scorer at 18.8 points per game while also leading the conference with 2.8 three-pointers per game. She ranked third in the MIAC in free throw percentage at 87.1 percent and set a St. Scholastica single-season record for three-pointers made.

Johnson and Riegel also contributed key minutes for the Saints throughout the 2025-26 campaign, helping the program to one of its strongest seasons since joining the MIAC.

As an Academic All-America® finalist, Haus now advances to the national ballot, where CSC members will vote on the program's highest honor, recognizing the top student-athletes across NCAA Divisions I, II and III and NAIA institutions.
