DULUTH, Minn. -- The College of St. Scholastica Athletics Department is proud to support the annual campus-wide Giving Tree initiative, benefiting the Safe Haven Shelter & Resource Center, a Duluth organization providing safety, shelter, and advocacy for survivors of domestic abuse.
Safe Haven's holiday wish list includes warm winter gear, children's items, basic necessities, and household supplies that help families transition toward security and independence. Each contribution—big or small—directly impacts individuals and families seeking refuge and support during the holiday season.
Saints Athletics invites student-athletes, staff, alumni, and fans to join in this meaningful effort. This year, there are four primary ways to participate in the Giving Tree project:
Ways to Give
1. Use the Giving Tree Spreadsheet via QR Code or Link
Scan the QR code or use THIS LINK to visit the Giving Tree Spreadsheet. From there, list your donation, pick up the item, and bring it to the Burns Wellness Center (BWC) Front Desk. The spreadsheet is color-coded for adults, children, and "everyone!"

2. Grab a Gift Tag from the Tree (Available December 1)
Stop by the Giving Tree on campus beginning December 1, choose a tag with a listed gift item, purchase it, and return the unwrapped donation to the BWC Front Desk.
3. Donate Cash at the BWC Front Desk
Prefer that we shop for you? Cash donations are accepted at the BWC Front Desk through December 8 at 5:00 p.m. Athletics staff and volunteers will purchase high-need items on your behalf.
4. Give a Gift at the Saints Basketball Games on December 6
Bring a gift valued at $5 or more to the Saints Basketball doubleheader on December 6 and receive free admission. The Saints Women's and Men's teams will take on Carleton at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. in the Reif Gymnasium.
Saints Athletics is committed to uplifting and supporting the Duluth community. By participating in the Giving Tree project, the Saints family can help ensure that families at Safe Haven experience comfort, care, and hope this holiday season.
