Duluth, Minn. – The Saint Scholastica Men's soccer team will open their season with a road trip to Madison, Wis, and Cedar Rapids, Iowa to play Edgewood College on Saturday, August 31, and Coe College on Sunday, September 1. Kick-off for game one is scheduled for 1 p.m. Game two is scheduled for 1 p.m.
The Saints are coming off of a season full of trial, capping off the season with an overall record of 2-14-1, and a MIAC record of 0-9-1. Going into the 2024 season, the Saints take to the road in hopes of making a name for themselves early in the season, starting in Madison WI, and ending their trip in Cedar Rapids Iowa.

Saints to Watch
Senior Captain Keegan Chastey (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Denfeld HS) ended the 2023 season with excellence, he earned his second All-MIAC Award, for leading the team in shots (36), points (17), goals (7), and assists (3). In his 16 games played, he placed 13th in goals and 14th, in conference play, he finished 11th in total shots and 15th in shots on goal among the other top MIAC players.
Notes on Opponent
Wrapping up the 2023 season, the Edgewood College Eagles ended the season with an overall record of 8-9-3 and a conference record of 4-6-2. This will be the first contest between the Saints and Eagles in the last decade.
The Kohawks finished the 2023 season with an overall record of 8-7-2 and a conference record of 3-5. In their last matchup, the Saints bested the Kohawks with a comfortable home win.
