                    Box Score St. Petersburg, Fla. - The College of Saint Scholastica men's tennis team played Division II opponent Eckerd College on their final match of spring break. The Saints team would be able to claim one point but fell 6-1.
Doubles
Today's match only counted as one decision and the foes would be able to claim the point, the teams also only played to six points.
Julia Maier (Hamburg, Germany/Heidberg Gymnasium) and Martina battled with the Tritons but saw a 6-4 defeat.
Chloe Hasbargen (Bemidji, Minn./Bemidji HS) and 
Mishell Benitez (Ambato, Ecuador/Colegio Tecnico Particular a Distancia José MartÃ) lost 6-1, and so did the No. 3 pairing of 
Anna Ritchie (Becker, Minn./Becker HS) and 
Maya Nibbe (Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS).
Singles
Maier fell 6-0, 6-0 in her match and Garica dropped her match 6-1, 6-1.
Benitez lost 6-2, 6-1 and 
Maria Sosa (Mazatenango, Guatemala) lost by scores 6-1, 6-1.
Getting an impressive point for the Saints was 
Katia Bartels (St. Paul, Minn./Mounds View HS), who grabbed the 6-2, 6-2 win.
In the final spot, Ritchie lost 6-1, 6-1.

This concludes the spring break trip for the women's team, they finish the trip 2-3 and have an overall record of 8-6. They will face College of St. Benedict on Saturday, March 23 in Virginia, Minn.
