St. Peter, MN. – The St. Scholastica football team will travel to St. Peter this weekend to take on the Gusties from Gustavus Adolphus College at 1 p.m. Saturday is also homecoming for Gustavus Adolphus College.
The Saints are coming off a thrilling victory last weekend against the Scots from Macalester College. Both teams enter Saturday's contest with a record of 2-2, while both teams are also 1-1 in conference play.

Saints to Watch
Offense:

Donald West (St. Paul, Minn./Woodbury HS (Iowa Central)) led the Saints offense with 275 passing yards while completing 23 passes. West also gained 36 yards on the ground while recording a rushing touchdown as well.

Nick Schlender (Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) led the Saints' offense in the rushing department, as the Senior gained 111 yards on 22 carries and found the endzone two times last weekend.

Jevon Williams (Willmar, MN) had himself a day rushing as well, as the Freshman gained 104 yards on just nine carries, while also recording a rushing touchdown.

Ricky Weber (Roseville, Minn./Roseville HS) led the Saints in receiving last week, recording six catches for 93 yards, gaining 15.5 yards per catch.
Defense:

Austin Mundt (Deer River, Minn./Deer River HS) recorded seven solo tackles and four assisted tackles to total 11 tackles which led the Saints defensively.

Isaiah Walters (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS (Iowa Western)) and John Bonner (Grand Rapids, Minn./Grand Rapids HS) each recorded five solo tackles and one assisted tackle to record six total tackles last week.

Maximilian Neaves (Waseca, Minn./Waseca HS) recorded his first career interception last weekend in the victory.
A Look at the Gusties
The Saints and Gusties have squared off three times, with the Gusties having won all three of the matchups. The Gusties currently have the fifth-best rushing offense in the MIAC, while also holding the third-best rushing defense in the conference.
