After a quick run from the Auggies, Kevin Thomas (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) put an end to the run with a layup that made the score 9-5 in favor of Augsburg.

The Saints got help with a jumper from Tanner Thomson (Woodbury, Minn./Stillwater HS) and a slam dunk from Luke Raymond (Hudson, Wis./Concordia Academy (UW-River Falls)), as the deficit now sat at 19-10.

Koy Nelson (Port Wing, Wis./South Shore HS) struck through minutes later with a three-pointer, as the Auggies expanded its lead to a 34-13 lead over the Saints.

Noah Winesett (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) and Crockett Jr. would both get jumpers to fall, with Winesett's coming from beyond-the-arc, as the Auggies held a 17-point advantage.

Moe Washington (Silver Spring, Md./Hibbing Community College) made his presence felt with a layup and a dunk, followed up by Crockett Jr. hitting a jumper and a three-pointer to close out the first half, with Augsburg leading 42-30.

The Saints got its first three field goals of the second half with a three-pointer by Jeff Moore (Richfield, Minn./Richfield HS), and a pair of baskets from Crockett Jr. and Thomas, as the Auggies lead was up to 65-35.

Midway through the second half, Thomson and Winesett scored on back-to-back three-pointers, which would be followed by layups from Nelson and Aaron Keykal (Princeton, Minn./Princeton HS).

With the game already decided, the Saints got late points from Owen Larsen (Chisago City, Minn./Chisago Lakes HS) scoring on a layup, and Ethan Russell (Minneapolis, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) getting a pair of free throws to fall, as the Auggies came away with a 101-63 victory over the Saints tonight.
