RIVER FALLS, Wis. — The St. Scholastica women's soccer traveled to River Falls to take on the Falcons from UW-River Falls. The Falcons were able to get past the Saints, behind three goals in the second half, by a score of 4-0.
How it Happened
The game was deadlocked at 0-0 throughout most of the first half, as Gracie Meagher (Cloquet, Minn./Cloquet HS) was able to make some key saves for the Saints.
Just before the end of the first half, the Falcons broke the 0-0 score, netting a goal in the 44th minute, to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
In the early moments of the second half, the Falcons separated itself from the Saints, as goals in the 53rd, 55th, and 63rd minute gave the Falcons a 4-0 lead.
Down the stretch, CSS made an attempt to cut into the deficit, but ultimately, the Falcons took this match by a score of 4-0.

The Saints (0-6, 0-1) will be back in action on Saturday, where they will travel to Northfield to take on the Oles from St. Olaf. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
