NEW ORLEANS, La. – The St. Scholastica men's and women's track & field programs were once again selected as U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III All-Academic Teams.
Head coach
Todd Bouchie's team continued its streak of USTFCCCA All-Academic team honors as the women's team earns USTFCCCA All-Academic recognition for the 16
th straight season, while the men's team earns the honor for the 13
th time.
The women's team ranked third out of the NCAA Division III programs and led all Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) programs with a 3.819 team grade point average.
To be named an All-Academic Team the cumulative team GPA (not 2022-23 academic year, not semester) of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility must be at least a 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester/quarter.
Additionally, women's thrower
Lily Beneke (Green Isle, Minn./Sibley East HS) was named All-Academic Athlete by the USTFCCCA for her second consecutive year.
In order to earn USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must hold a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale through the most recently-completed grading period. Individuals must also either have finished the season among the top 50 individuals in an event or be a member of one of the top 35 relays or have participated in the indoor or outdoor national championships.
