How it Happened
The Saints first field goal of the night came courtesy of a three-pointer from Lexi Imdieke (Andover, Minn./Andover HS) and a layup from Kloey Lind (Pine City, Minn./Pine City HS), to give CSS an early 7-5 lead.
Later in the quarter, Lind scored once again on a layup, followed by a three-pointer by Hope Carlson (Proctor, Minn./Proctor HS), as the Saints led 12-7.

The Saints closed out the quarter with Imdieke and Johnson both getting three-pointers to fall, taking a 15-point lead into the second quarter.
Imdieke opened the second quarter picking up right where she left off, scoring the Saints' first six points on three-pointers.
After both teams went scoreless for a few minutes, Gabby Voigt (St. Michael. Saint Mary's however, would not go down without a fight, as the Saints lead got trimmed down to as low as three, with three minutes to play.
