EAU CLAIRE, Wis.
(csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's soccer team traveled to Eau Claire, Wisconsin this evening to take on the Blugolds from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Unfortunately, the Blugolds held the Saints scoreless this evening, and took tonight's matchup, by a score of 5-0.
How it Happened

Ben Hallberg (Princeton, Minn./Princeton HS) made his college debut tonight for the Saints and was quickly peppered by shots courtesy of the Blugolds. Eau Claire took an early 3-0 lead over the Saints, despite Hallberg recording three saves early in the contest.
Eau Claire took its 3-0 lead into halftime and scored nine minutes into the second half, making it a 4-0 game.
The Blugolds topped off tonight's strong performance against CSS with scoring another goal in the 81
st minute and prevailed in tonight's matchup, by a score of 5-0.
