DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The College of St. Scholastica Athletics Department recently welcomed 34 new inductees into its Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society chapter.
 
This is the second class inducted into the chapter. St. Scholastica is one of six chapters in Minnesota, including one of five Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) institutions.
 
Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society honors those collegiate student-athletes who have excelled in both the classroom and in athletic competition, and who have received a varsity letter in their respective sport or sports, while maintaining a 3.4 or higher cumulative GPA with junior academic status. 
 
Founded in 1996 at DePauw University, in Greencastle, Ind., Chi Alpha Sigma has nearly 300 chapters throughout the country at all levels of intercollegiate athletics.
