DULUTH, Minn. (
csssaints.com) – Weather is wreaking havoc for St. Scholastica athletics teams this week, causing many postponements and cancellations. The updates are as follows.
BASEBALL
Wednesday's scheduled Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) doubleheader at Concordia College-Moorhead is postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time.
Saturday's MIAC doubleheader at Augsburg University has also been postponed. A make-up date will be announced at a later time.
The Saints are scheduled to play Saint John's University at Wade Stadium on Tuesday beginning at 2:30 p.m.
SOFTBALL
Wednesday's home MIAC doubleheader against Saint Mary's University is postponed. The teams will try and make-up the doubleheader on Thursday, April 21 in Duluth.
The Saints are next scheduled to take the field on Saturday for a MIAC doubleheader at St. Olaf College.
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TENNIS
The St. Scholastica men's team was scheduled to play Ripon College (Wis.) on Wednesday, but that match has been canceled. Both the men's and women's teams were then going to play the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Thursday, but those matches have also been canceled.
Both teams are scheduled to play next at Saint Mary's on Saturday, April 23.
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD
Thursday's Lee Krough Invitational at Gustavus Adolphus College is canceled. The Saints are next scheduled to compete at the Bulldog Open, hosted by the University of Minnesota-Duluth on Thursday, April 21.
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S GOLF
The St. Scholastica women's golf team was hoping to play at the Bethel University Rumble at the Ridge on Friday and Saturday, but that event has been postponed. The CSS men's team were going to play at the Bobby Krig Invitational also on Friday and Saturday, but will not be competing.
Both teams are scheduled to play next at the University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjacket Invitational in Spooner, Wisconsin on Wednesday, April 20.
