ALL-MIAC RELEASE

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (csssaints.com) – St. Scholastica women's basketball sophomore guard Miranda Broberg (Milaca, Minn./Milaca HS (UW-Superior)) was named Honorable Mention All-Conference by the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), the league announced on Tuesday.
 
Broberg led the Saints averaging 14.5 points per game. She also led the team with 52, 3-point field goals and 89 made free throws, while shooting a team-best 76% from the free throw line. In the regular season finale at St. Olaf College, Broberg set a single-game program record with seven 3-pointers.
 
Her 89 made free throws ranked second in the MIAC and her 50 made 3-pointers in league play, also ranked second in the conference. She was fourth in the conference, averaging 14.9 points per game against MIAC competition.
 
Conference Awards
Augsburg University's Jen Masello was named the MIAC Player of the Year. Teammate Anja Smith was the Sixth Player of the Year and their head coach Ted Riverso was the MIAC Coach of the Year. Hayden Glander of Bethel University was the MIAC Rookie of the Year.
