-F. Ledenkov extends point streak to four games after missing the last three games
-CSS has won four straight over the Royals

BLAINE, Minn. (csssaints.com) – Sophomore Jack Bostedt (Janesville, Wis./Janesville Craig HS (Minnesota Mullets-USPHL)) made 33 saves without allowing a goal for the second straight game and the Ledenkov brothers scored a pair of third-period goals to lift the St. Scholastica men's hockey team past Bethel University 2-0 Friday night in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play.

How it Happened
The Royals outshot the Saints 25-14 through the first two periods, but the game remained scoreless heading into the third period. Then just 54 seconds into the third period Arkhip Ledenkov (Polotsk, Belarus/Ostroshitsko-Gorodokskaya (New York Aviators-USPHL)) lit the lamp to give St. Scholastica a 1-0 advantage. Filimon Ledenkov (Polotsk, Belarus/Ostroshitsko-Gorodokskaya (New York Aviators-USPHL)) and Tyler Hinterser (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville HS (Brookings-NAHL)) had the assists.

With eight minutes to play it would be Filimon Ledenkov (Polotsk, Belarus/Ostroshitsko-Gorodokskaya (New York Aviators-USPHL)) scoring to extend the Saints lead to 2-0. Jon Hansen (Duluth, Minn./Duluth Marshall (Minnesota Mullets-USPHL)) and Karl Wright (Cambridge, Mass./Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (Connecticut Nighthawks-USPHL)) had the assists. Bethel pulled its netminder for the final 2:21, but managed just one shot on goal the rest of the way as the Saints prevailed 2-0.

Goaltending
Bostedt finished with 33 saves for his second consecutive shutout and third of the season. Travis Allen had 19 saves for the Royals.
