csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's basketball team had just one player score in double figures in a 75-58 loss at St. Olaf College Wednesday night in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) action.

Connor Bich (Duluth, Minn./Hermantown HS (Dakota Wesleyan)) 3-pointer gave the Saints a 3-2 lead in the first minute of the game. Unfortunately, it would be St. Scholastica's only lead as the Oles (8-6, 4-5 MIAC) responded with a 7-0 run. A
Kevin Thomas (Hermantown, Minn./Hermantown HS) layup halfway through the first half made it 18-16 St. Olaf.
Following a
Nick Carlson (Canyon, Minn./South Ridge HS) jumper with eight minutes left, the Oles finished the first half with a 21-2 run to lead 47-22 at the break. St. Olaf shot 51% from the floor in the half, while the Saints were held to 30%. The Oles outscored the Saints 14-0 in points off turnovers in the first half.
The margin remained over 20 for the first 12 minutes of the second half. The Saints would put together a 14-2 run late in the second half as the final was 75-58.
Top Performers
Isiah Hendrickson (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) led the Saints, matching a season-high, with 12 points.
Jack Silgen (Deerwood, Minn./Crosby-Ironton HS (St. Thomas)) finished with eight points and eight rebounds.
Noah Winesett (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) added nine points. Thomas had a season-high seven points and eight rebounds.
Dominic Bledsoe led the Oles with a game-high 21 points.
