DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica football program's long-awaited return to the field will be delayed as Saturday's season opener against Sewanee (Tenn.) has been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols. The game was scheduled to be played at Public Schools Stadium.
 
The Saints now will have to wait to make their 2021 debut and they will do so jumping right into their first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) game when they welcome Augsburg University to Public Schools Stadium on Saturday, September 25.
