How It Happened
The Saints controlled play in the early going, but the Kohawks (0-4-0) started to take advantage of CSS miscues and started to control the possession later in the first half. However, with the less than two minutes remaining in the half Oscar Norgren (Little Falls, Minn./Little Falls HS) played a nice cross to the far post to Romario Willis (Kingston, Jamaica/St. George's College) who used a diving header to give the Saints the 1-0 lead. For Willis, it was his first collegiate goal.

Then less than a minute later, Nolan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) dribbled through defender and struck back that ricocheted off the inside left post and in the goal to make it 2-0 in the blink of an eye.

Less than five minutes into the second half, Jordan Finneran (Newmarket, England/Cambridge Regional College) played a cross in to Chris Galley (Kent, England/Rivington & Blackrod HS) who was able to head the ball in to extend the lead to 3-0, For Galley, it was his first collegiate goal. That score remained until 90 elapsed for a final of 3-0.

Goalkeeping
Anthony McHenry (Traverse City, Mich./Duluth East HS (Minn.)) made his first collegiate start and made one save to earn the win. Dominic Cuoco (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury HS) saw his first collegiate action in the second half and stopped a pair of shots.
