CHASKA, Minn. (
csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team dropped just two games in the entire dual match in a 9-0 victory over Crown College on Saturday in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) action.
Doubles
The Saints didn't drop a game in any of three doubles matches. The No. 1 team of
Jake Jolowsky (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS) and
Jack Kearney (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS), the No. 2 team of
Reece Patten (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) and
Rafa Gonzalez (La Libertad, El Salvador/FESA) and the No. 3 team of
Duke Nguyen (St. Paul, Minn./St. Paul Academy and Summit School) and
Bradley Golant (Lakeville, Minn./Lakeville South HS (Hearst-NOJHL)) all won 8-0.
Singles
Jolowsky at No. 1,
Carter Anderson (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS) at No. 2,
Giacomo Lucchesi (Lima, Peru/Santa Maria Marianistas) at No. 3,
Riley Versich (Kelly Lake, Minn./Hibbing HS (Itasca CC)) at No. 4 and
Reed Kolles (Otsego, Minn./Rogers HS) at No. 5 all won by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
Nguyen won at the No. 5 position by scores of 6-0, 6-2.
