LAKEVILLE, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to the University of St. Thomas on Sunday at the Lifetime Fitness.
 
Doubles
The No. 1 duo of Elliot Schneider (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) and Jack Kearney (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing HS) won at the No. 1 spot 8-5. The Tommies (2-2) won the other two doubles slots.
 
Singles
Schneider also captured the lone singles wins for the Saints, winning 6-2, 7-6 (7-4) to improve to 3-0 at the No. 1 spot this season.
 
St. Thomas won the other singles matches in straight sets.
 
Up Next
The Saints (1-2) will head back to Milwaukee area Saturday for the makeup match with Wisconsin Lutheran College. Action is set to begin at 3 p.m. at the Wisconsin Athletic Club.
