BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (
csssaints.com) – St. Scholastica junior men's soccer defender
Ken Pryde (Fareham, England/Barton Peveril College) was named an all-conference performer by the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) on Tuesday.
Pryde All-MIAC Selection
Pryde earns all-conference accolades for the third consecutive year as he was a First Team All-UMAC (Upper Midwest Athletic Conference) choice his first two seasons. Pryde was the only St. Scholastica player to appear in all 18 games this season, in which he started all 18 contests. He led the team in minutes played as he played all but 14 minutes this year.
Pryde converted the team's lone penalty of the season against Concordia College-Moorhead and scored a pair of goals in a non-conference victory over Northland College. Pryde also committed just three fouls this season from his defender position.
Friday Honorable Mention All-MIAC
Nolan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) earned Honorable Mention All-MIAC status. The senior midfielder led the Saints with six goals and 13 points this season, including the game-winning goal in the season opener over Saint John's University. This was the second time in his career that Friday led the team in goals.
