DULUTH, Minn. (csssaints.com) – The St. Scholastica football team will conclude its first season in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) with a return trip to Hamline University on Saturday.

St. Scholastica Saints
Record: 0-7, 0-7 MIAC
What You Need to Know about St. Scholastica: 
-The Saints are facing the Pipers for the inaugural MIAC Championship Week, which pairs teams across divisions based on standings.
-CSS is coming off a 28-14 loss to Macalester College last Saturday in the home finale at Public Schools Stadium.
-A 21-point second quarter by the Scots was the difference in the contest.
-The Saints had 327 yards of total offense against Macalester, their second-highest total of the season.
-Macalester held possession for 25 minutes more than the Saints in Saturday's loss.
-The Saints have committed seven turnovers in the last two weeks, including three last week, while not having forced a turnover during that span.
-First-year signal caller Byron Bishop (Sublimity, Ore./Regis HS) has completed at least 16 passes in six of his seven starts.
-Bishop threw for a season-high 215 yards in his first collegiate start against Hamline.
-Mitchell Adrian (Altoona, Wis./Altoona HS) went over 200 career receptions last week against Macalester.
-In 25 career games as a Saint, Adrian is averaging 8.1 receptions per game.
-Adrian is currently eighth in NCAA Division III, averaging 8.3 receptions per game this season
-Senior defensive tackle Tandrell Foster (Hurley, Wis./Hurley HS) is one quarterback hurry shy of tying the program record for QB hurries in a career.
-Foster leads the MIAC averaging 1.6 tackles for a loss per game.
-First-year linebacker Jamari Thompson (Little Rock, Ark./Waller HS) leads the MIAC, averaging 5.3 solo tackles per game.
-First-year defensive lineman Anthony Vo (St. Paul, Minn./Roseville HS) ranks second in the conference, averaging 8.6 tackles per game.

Hamline Pipers
Record: 3-6, 1-6 MIAC
What You Need to Know about Hamline:
-The Pipers are coming off a 41-7 loss against Concordia College-Moorhead last Saturday.
-Saturday's game against Concordia was Hamline's first at home since an October 9th loss to Bethel University.
-Hamline ranks second in the MIAC for the fewest penalty yards per game at 50.1.
-The Pipers have only lost two fumbles this season, which ranks sixth in NCAA Division III for the fewest allowed this season.
-The Pipers rank third in the conference, converting 87% of their red zone opportunities.
-Triston Thomas leads the MIAC averaging 134.6 all-purpose yards per game.
-Senior quarterback Connor Leavens has thrown 16 touchdown passes this year, which ranks fourth in the conference.
-Leavens also leads the conference with 12 interceptions
-Thomas has been the main target of Leavens with 60 receptions on the year.
-Junior running back Nikolas Rocafort leads the rushing attack, gaining 413 yards this season.
-Junior linebacker Sam Fritz leads the defense with 62 tackles

Series History: The Pipers jumped out to a 20-0 halftime lead on October 2 and although the Saints outscored Hamline 18-14 in the second half, the Pipers prevailed 34-18 in the first meeting between the two programs. Adrian had seven receptions for 72 yards and a score for the Saints. Ryder Hutton had six receptions for 88 yards and two scores for Hamline.
