SUPERIOR, Wis. (csssaints.com) – In wet and windy conditions, the St. Scholastica men's soccer team jumped out to a 1-0 lead only to see Bridge Rival University of Wisconsin-Superior score three unanswered goals to defeat the Saints 3-1 in non-conference action Wednesday night.

How It Happened
Nolan Friday (Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS) put the Saints in front in the 21st with a nice strike with the left foot that bended inside the top left corner of the goal to make it 1-0.

The Yellowjackets (10-6-0) equalized 10 minutes later with a header. The score stood at 1-1 after 45 minutes of action.

It remained 1-1 until the 76th minute when UWS got behind the CSS defense and made it 2-1. With the Saints pushing forward, the Yellowjackets were able to add another in the 84th minute to make the final 3-1.
